Beta Development | Bullet Time Camera Array

The Little Falls project involved a collaboration between five students under a professor of Art and Technology at the University of Oregon, funded by an anonymous tech client. Over several months, we tested the developing technology, experimented with creative uses, and recorded our journey.
[Gif] With the bullet time camera array fixed on the back of a truck with a generator and laptop, trained on my bike following, we were able to use the technology at unprecedented speed.
My key contribution to the project was Mary's dragon. I mapped out a 3d space in Unity with 15 cameras to model the physical camera array; the digital camera array focused on a CGI dragon over a greenscreen, and the physical camera array focused on Mary's hand. Keying out the green on the 15 Unity footages, and layering them on top of the footage of Mary, we were left with Mary holding a dragon in her palm.
